…And, I even have one, yes just one, window open in the house! It is so nice to hear the birds and the cars drive by. Yes, I like hearing the cars too…it is nice to know there is life outside of these doors.  With Spring in the air… that means a great opportunity to get out with your family and capture some new Family portraits & Senior portraits.  Give me a call or send me an email so we can get your Session details just as you want them and your Session down on the calendar!

Beautiful Moon

So…it has always been one of my dreams…”to go to the moon”.  No, I will never make it – I know.  Not due to fuel cost and needing to know someone on the inside there at NASA…but my true gut wrenching fear of flying! However, I can touch the moon and reach for it here from the safety of our beautiful Earth…through capturing images of it’s magnificence!  While my family was sleeping snug in their nice warm beds, I layered on the clothes and ventured outside (in this ridiculously cold Indiana air) accompanied with camera and tripod to do just that! Reach high above the Earth…and capture the moon!  You know your dream is only as far away as you make it…

So Squishy…Gotta love the New Goodness!

I love how newborns are so squishy…I mean c’mon, could you sleep on your feet?  Their smell, their flaky skin, their never ending desire to sleep (makes for great pictures :) and their pure, blissful innocence.  To capture this glimpse in time is such an honor to me.  If you have had a newborn yourself…you know how fast these little loves change.  And if you are expecting….I recommend booking your newborn session before the big day as to insure you don’t miss out on these fast changing features that your love will be born with!

Oldy but goody

As I have been hard at work putting together my new site…which I hope you have enjoyed thus far…I have also been hard at work at the behind the scenes.  Strategizing new promotions, trying to figure out why facebook keeps giving me wonky

“Something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can. You may be able to try again.” codes as I am desperate to share and correspond with all my new friends and fans!!
Along with trying to keep up with family, life, and so-on.  However, as I was taking a minute to just enjoy some “me time” I entered a photo contest on a site for photographers to critique each other’s work and couldn’t help but share it here with you!
This is a picture I took 1 1/2 years ago of my dear daughter to mark her 9 month milestone!  I <3 this image and have had such a rave response on it ever since.  Yes, that is her real eye color…no, mine or her Daddy’s are not blue or that beautiful…she is just a very beautiful little person both – inside and out!  I can’t believe we are approaching her 3rd birthday in just a few short months.  Make this picture even more bittersweet for me.
…and I will keep you posted on how the picture places in the contest!

Hello world!

Well…I am back! And I must say…I am loving it!  There has been some changes implemented into my photography services.  I have also changed a bit of my pricing to better reflect the changes as well.  But I do believe you will find that you will like!
